Megans scary house story

 A DAY WORSE THAN DEATH
It felt like the eyes of old paintings were staring down on me, watching me discover unspeakable mysteries of the horrific forgotten house. I jumped and let out a small scream when I heard the wicked sound of the rusty frightful front door I froze as the sound of footsteps came closer I darted to hide underneath a table. The old house had a cold breeze travel through, my hands were red slowly turning blue I was breathing deeply but held my breath as the faint sound of footsteps  stopped that wasn’t it to make it worse a soft fluent sound of a piano playing, I thought to myself that I had to get out of here! The disgusting taste of spider webs sticking to my face as I rushed towards the door turning left and right it felt like there was no escape but that’s when it hit me when I something that would give me nightmares until I convince myself this couldn’t be real it was frightening to see that there was a piano playing except no one was playing it. I went rigid and couldn’t move, I could smell the strange smell of lavender perfume as it travelled with the cold breeze, first the footsteps now the lavender perfume I was convinced someone was here. Then there was a shadow it moved back and forth  when I heard the high pitch, out-of-tune and screeching sound of a rocking chair moving  back and forth back and forth back and forth. Swaying side to side the sound of trees outside under  the lightning filled sky then suddenly SLAM the rusty old door swung shut. I followed the sound with my entire body against it but I knew it would be my only escape from this horrific nightmare. I felt the moss growing on the big handle but what was really bothering me is what would be waiting for me on the other side.
