true stream

OK SO AT SCHOOL WE WERE DOING STREAM STUDY AND WE HAD TO PAINT A PICTURE OF THE STREAM AND WRITE A POEM TO MATCH. MINE IS THE ODD ONE OUT BECAUSE MY STREAM WAS BROWN (LIKE THE STREAM WAS) AND EVERYONE ELSE S WAS BLUE AND THEIR POEMS MATCHED AND THIS IS MY POEM!!! ENJOY OR NOT I DONT REALLY CARE!

The rocks were brown like meatloaf
The water was clear like a window
I hear birds choking on seeds and bug real slow like
The water sounds like water trickling over slimy rocks
Cars zooming past
The sun is hot where the sunscreen?! I feel like a piece of burning coal
Can you turn off the sun please?
Im dying!

Tanisha Haunted House

There I was glued tight to the ground struggling my way out of this horrible place; I knew something bad is going to happen any time now.

Suddenly my legs started to move closer and closer to the Haunted House as if someone or something was controlling me to enter the haunted house for some reason.

‘drip drop drip drop’ blood drips from the roof of the house, it smelt of creatures slowly and painfully dying of that appalling smell, hollow trees leaning over the house trying to capture it with its leaves.

I took the slightest and tiniest step onto the front porch of the house then ‘creak creak’ the door ever slow slightly opened and the strangest thing happened to the house that night.

The whole house lit up so brightly and the table was filled with delious cupcakes and cookies.
I was egger to step on in and enjoy myself but my legs were chain locked into the ground I couldn’t get out, nothing was working I couldn’t shove a pit.

I was trapped until whatever inside will set me free but If I even whispered something could grabbed and tear me appear I had to be careful no one will hear or see me.
All I could hear was the echoing of faint piano keys in the distance or I was just losing my mind, piece by piece.

I look up to see the clouds are closing in. Time to get home before the rain comes. To slow it pelts down on my face harder and harder with each drop. I find myself at the stream and I have to cross it’s the only way there’s no bridge. But the waters growing, and swelling fast. I lower myself into the water tightly grasping the roots that were slightly ajar from the bank. Walking out as far as I could while still holding on. The currants not to strong slowly I let go edging farther out. Very carefully taking each step.  I reach out a hand and grasped the bank. Slowly pulling my self up when AHHH!!!!!!! The bank gives way and I plummet into the icy water getting swept away. I can’t get my footing something crashes into me and every thing goes black.

sounds of a creaky old house

By Ivy Jeffries
Creak, creak, creak
I can’t believe my Mum told me I should go to see the ‘haunted house’ with my friends it’s so like…
“Brr man it’s, cold don’t you think, um guys, um Keely, err Grace?”
“Pswpisperwsp”
“Huh is, is that you Keely?”
The thud of some ones heals touching the ground, screaming in the distance, the wind whistles flowing inside the creaky house form millions of gapes in the walls. Thunder crashing coming closer from over the mountains. Suddenly silence absolutely silent. The sound of my heart beating boom-boom, boom-boom- boom-boom. One foot after the other slowly making my way through the hall way.

A Living Nightmare

I stood at the rusted gate of the house on 13 Elm St. Why did I let my friends talk me into that stupid dare game! I entered the front yard which was a grave yard. Every tombstone was overgrown with ivy.
The rainclouds overhead parted, the light of the full moon shone down on everything. I saw that some graves have been dug up, and the coffins were empty. I heard a howl that sent shivers down my spine. The moon light disappeared as clouds went over the moon. A gale started up, the wind cut through me like a knife. The dead trees that went around the outside of the property started creaking and groaning like living things.
It started to rain. I ran over the overgrown path to the old and rotting deck. Lightning crashed. I saw the mansion for the first time. It was once a white house but age has left paint a dark grey and peeling, half of the windows were cracked or broken.
There was a tall spire on the left side of the house. On top of the spire was a weather vane spinning madly in the wind. Bats were fluttering around the top of the tower squeaking their ghastly squeaks. I started to wonder what horrible creatures this house may hold: ghosts, zombies, living skeletons, vampires, werewolves, and maybe even Frankenstein’s monster, the list could go on forever. As I was standing getting drenched in the rain a terror stricken scream echoed around inside the house.
That’s when the moaning sounded. Numerous moans echoed around me. As dark figures limped towards I screamed. I screamed until a hand of rotting flesh covered my mouth. When the undead sunk their mouldy teeth into the back of my head I thought why did I have to die this way.

The Return Of The Waves

                  By Tumatauenga
One long, dull day we went to camp and it was very boring. Finally something fun came up. We packed our togs and rode on the bus to little kaiteriteri. And set off to enjoy our day. Once we got there Mr. Herring set the rules and off we went into the ocean to go kayaking. It was so fun I passed Genesis like a speeding bullet. After half an hour or so it was getting tiring. And the water was clear as a dirty window; I went around the yellow buoy just skimming it with the side of my kayak. I was paddling my hardest until the end when I just sat and started floating by. After I got out we went back to camp with a towel round my waist and sand in my pants.

Case Of The Poisoned Plants

                      By Tumatauenga Dixon

Bang! The doors shut, with me outside, sad and moneyless. And the worse thing is that when I went home I told my Nana and was she mad! It was so loud I could hardly hear my own heart beat.
”Hahahahaha” laughed my old boss “I have poisoned all the water in Metropolis so all the citizens shall go to the only hospitals in the city for 12 kilometers so that all there money shall run into my pocket! “Hahahahaha”
Mean while I was walking down the street and I saw come across a puddle of a sticky green substance, it looked very familiar I had seen the same green, icky goo before…
It was in my old bosses’ shirt pocket! The day he fired me. But what does it do? Im gonna get to the bottom of this! Back at work
“What do you mean he’s onto us, I have this all figured out!”
“You better!”  Said the man on the other side of the phone.
RING RING “Yes” he exclaimed
“I know you’re behind something” I yelled
“I’ll meet you in the abandoned warehouse tonight!”
The later that day I went to the abandoned warehouse When I got there through the pitch black, the only thing I could see was the light from the half open door.
“Hello Detective!”
“What do you want?” I said then the lights turned on. “For you to stay out of my business!” Then he pulled out a pistol and started shooting at me! I reached into my pocket for my gun, it wasn’t there I only had my lunch in there and the first thing I grabbed was my banana so I threw it at him and it hit him right in the middle of the forehead making him fall over backwards. I ran for my car once I got in I drove home in a flash.
